I design complex products & explore new ways of bringing ideas to life.
I’m Emisho, multidisciplinary product designer and creative technologist. I currently work as the Founding and Solo Product Designer at Plumter, a YC-backed fintech. Over the past four years, I have designed products across cross-border payments, compliance, invoicing, internal operations, and AI-assisted workflows.
Beyond Plumter, I spend a lot of time exploring motion, interaction, 3D, automotive interfaces, AI, and code. Most of these projects begin with a simple question about how an interface could feel, move, or behave differently, then grow into experiments that help me learn new tools and push beyond the limits of my day-to-day product work.
I also share tutorials and parts of my process on YouTube, where I talk about creative web design, advanced Figma prototyping, 3D, motion, and the ideas behind the things I build.
Teaching and mentorship have become a natural extension of my practice. I have trained more than 150 emerging designers through Tech4Dev and served as a Team Mentor with Develop for Good, supporting a student design team as they worked through real product challenges for a nonprofit partner.
Away from design, I’m a huge nerd and also enjoy a very diverse spectrum of music. I listen to everything from rock & metal to classical, pop, and also folk & cultural.
I also obsess a lot over soundtracks and composers, and I love discovering global artists, geeking out over fiction, movies & animations and video games, and exploring all sorts of random, obscure things that spark my curiosity.
If any of these are your jam, do indulge me in a chat! Or even better, share your favourite movie, animation or video game soundtrack recommendations. I’d love to listen! You can also check out some of my curated playlists.
